To achieve the ultimate goal: total satisfaction of our clients, we selected SoftLayer’s data center facility in Dallas, TX, to collocate our hosting servers.

Planting our servers within SoftLayer’s server farm makes us confident that we can provide industry leading web hosting solutions, powered by the latest technologies and secured by the current patterns of modern data center design.

The data center is equipped to handle any challenge:

» The facilities are monitored 24×7 to ensure our servers are always safe
» Server uptime is guaranteed by N+1 power generator architecture
» The environment is controlled by N+2 redundant data center HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems

We deploy data centers in a pod concept. A pod, or server room, is a designed to be an identical installation of balanced power, cooling and redundant best-in-class equipment in under 10,000 square feet. It will support just about 5,000 dedicated servers, and each pod is built to the same specifications as every other pod. We use the same hardware vendor for servers, the majority of our internal network is powered by Cisco gear and edge equipment is now powered by Juniper. Even the paint on the walls matches up from pod to pod, city to city and now country to country.

Designed for maximum uptime and peak efficiency, our data center is regularly and independently audited to comply with industry best practice standards, such as SAS 70 Type II.

The Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70, Service Organizations, is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS 70 audit recognizes that a hosting provider has had an in-depth audit of its control activities, conducted by an independent third-party auditor. It includes a thorough review of all controls over information technology and related processes. Passing a SAS 70 audit demonstrates to you that the company that owns and operates the data center where our servers are located established adequate controls and safeguards for hosting your data.
